Honoring Danny Boggs
If Fullmer's Landscaping had a family tree, Danny Boggs would be near the beginning of it. Danny celebrated 40 years of service to Fullmer's Landscaping this fall, and retired at the beginning of this year, leaving behind a legacy of learning, growing, and excelling in the landscape industry.
Danny's first day on the job was September of 1973—working everywhere from maintaining equipment to assisting in the nursery. He was employed at that time by Lloyd Fullmer, founder of Fullmer's Landscaping, who described Danny as a ‘hard worker with an excellent ability to improvise and get the job done during his first years.’ Diligent learning prepared Danny to become a landscape installer, and eventually a senior landscape supervisor, leading a team of installers to bring beautiful designs to life.
Faithful commitment has allowed Danny to grow with the changes that have occurred in the landscape industry's last 40 years. His knowledge and skill have become invaluable, and he is one of the first to assist in training new landscape workers for Fullmer's.
There is one thing, however, that has not wavered throughout Danny's 40 years of service to Fullmer's Landscaping: a faithful willingness to get the job done. This quality was the same on his last day of work as it was on that first day in 1973.
